Today is part two of a four part series this month of local small business features. During this challenging time I think it’s more important than ever that we support small business in any way we can.
Today’s feature is Tranquility & Co, a mother and daughter home craft business founded in February 2020. Read more about this sweet duo and their wonderful products below.
This is a Mother/Daughter operation. Erin left her full time job as an Emergency Room Nurse to pursue providing Tessa with a homeschool education. As a strong Christian family, we place God first and her education is Christian based. Since Erin’s source of income was no longer there she decided to develop a business that she could easily incorporate into her everyday curriculum. Tranquility & Co. teaches Tessa a bit about science with the melting and forming of candles and soaps, a bit about math with the measuring of weight and volume, a bit about being and entrepreneur and the philanthropy is that they keep costs low so others can enjoy their craft and they donate a portion of their sales to their local church.
They offer 3 different size soy based candles as well as max melts in several amazing scents. The 13 oz. wood wick candles which when burned not only smells wonderful but also has a gloriously amazing crackle too. The 7oz cork jars which are small, but adorable! And lastly the 4 oz. tin candle which make sweet little gifts for any occasion.
To find out more and place an order for yourself , find them on FB, on IG or check out their website.
