Yesterday was snow fun! I know, corny, but I couldn’t resist…LOL! Anyway, as I was doing my review of 2016, I was bummed to realize I hadn’t taken the time to photograph my own kids much at all during 2016. When I say not much, I mean not much at all. Seriously, only 2 times, the whole year! I did of course take pictures with my cell but not many from my big camera. I knew it was particularly bad, when my hubs even mentioned something about not having any Mine on Monday posts to look at.
Going forward, one of my personal goals for 2017 is to take more pictures of my own kids. My hope is to do at least one session with them a month. Nothing crazy, and they won’t all be this planned. Simply hoping to do one session a month so by years end, I will have gotten them in front of my lens at least 12 times. Why am I telling you? Well, that’s simple, I want to be held accountable. I figure if I put it out there then I will be more likely to follow through. As with all my goals for the new year, I plan to put them out there and hope that you will all follow along with me. 2017 is going to be an amazing year!
Now onto our snow fun session! Yesterday, I took the girls outside in the freshly fallen snow to grab some cute new pictures and even got a quick video. The girls weren’t thrilled at first but played along. Honestly, I think they enjoyed it more than they thought they would. And I couldn’t be happier with the results. Take a peek for yourself. Feel free to leave a comment, I’d love to hear some of your personal goals for 2017.
