Hi! My name is Stephanie Bumpus and I have owned melt massage therapy (located in the Colonial Plaza in Putnam, CT) for the past 6 years.
Tell me a bit about your business.
I specialize in therapeutic Swedish and Deep Tissue massage and offer treatments suited to what my clients require at each visit whether it be a “melt” into the table relaxation experience or a vigorous focus on targeted muscle areas. I believe that each client deserves my undivided attention and focus during their session and want them to walk away feeling wonderful when they walk out my door.
What do you make/sell?
I often use additional heat sources during my massages, most at no additional charge. These include a heated fleece table warmer, hot towels and stones. Not only is heat a relaxing addition; it also helps warm and soften the muscles.
What products are your favorites?
I have recently added an eco friendly hand wax treatment to my list of services, for an additional fee. It’s absolutely wonderful for those with overworked, dry and/or arthritic hands!
What products are must have holiday gifts?
I uniquely offer a Massage Maintenance Program, which discounts my massage prices for those clients who schedule regular appointments (every 6 wks or less) and this is a very popular option among my clients. I also sell massage packages and offer a reduced senior citizen rate.
