What should I wear to my session?
This is probably the question I am asked the most. So I put together a very helpful guide to answer this which you will receive in your welcome packet.
What happens if my child has a meltdown during our session?
This is a common worry for moms. I’ve been photographing little ones for over 11 years now, and during this time I’ve probably only had 2 or 3 sessions total where this was an issue. Honest! So if by some chance this happens, I will engage with your child and give them a diversion which will distract them from whatever it was that upset them to begin with. Trust me, it works.
What is the best time to schedule my session?
Try to setup your appointment for a time during the day that your child is his/her happiest. I am very flexible scheduling my appointments. Having three children of my own, I know that an unhappy child will yield unsatisfying results.
Your clients look like models in your online galleries. What's the secret?
Ahhh, I get this one a lot too. I assure you, my clients are all real moms and dads, just like you. Again I have to say trust me, I have loads of flattering poses to make you look stunning as well as techniques to help you relax and forget you are being photographed that really work.
Do you have a studio and what locations do you recommend?
No, I don’t have a studio. I know lots of great locations to shoot at and will gladly discuss all your options with you before your session.
Do you photograph weddings?
No, I don’t do weddings. However, I will be happy to refer you to a colleague.
How much is this going to cost?
My clients typically invest between $500 – $1000 per session.
