Well, it’s going to be a rainy gloomy weekend here, so you know what that means…..reschedule,reschedule, reschedule. This time of year can be so tricky. I pack my fall schedule tightly. It’s such a wonderful time of year for pictures but it’s both a blessing and a curse. I love being busy and seeing so many wonderful families, however the rain makes the rescheduling tough.
With the weekend looking like it’s going to be a washout, all 3 sessions I had booked will now be rescheduled. Since I won’t be sharing any session sneak peeks this weekend, I figured I would share some peeks from my fall mini sessions last week. Last weekend was chilly but a gorgeous fall weekend. I spent Saturday at Roseland Park in Woodstock, CT shooting my mini sessions.
We had an excellent turn out, with 9 families joining in the fun! These sessions were great for a couple of reasons. First, because I got to see some of my favorite families all day along. I mean come on, that’s a pretty great perk. Don’t you think? Second, because these sessions were done as a fundraiser for Roseland Park. It’s so nice to be able to give back to our community.
If you haven’t been to Roseland you should totally check it out. Pack a picnic lunch and spend the day. You can hike on some wooded trails, sit in the gazebo overlooking the water, play on the playground and there are even basketball courts to play on. There is so much to do, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
I would also like to thank all the families who came out and joined in this fun day of fall mini sessions. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. Here is just a peek at some of the fun we had.
