Today was, in a word magical. I had the pleasure of doing anniversary photos for A&D to celebrate 10 years of marriage. This session has been in the works for months, including lots of wardrobe and location planning along with actual session planning. However, as their session date grew closer mother nature kept throwing rain in the mix which as you may have guessed was not part of our plans! But we weren’t giving up that easy. We moved some things around and planned to squeeze in our session this morning before the rain.
Fast forward to 5am this morning when a panicked D and I were texting back and fourth as we saw a 50% chance of rain during our session time. Both D and I were so indecisive we left the final decision up to A and he said let’s just go for it. Well thank goodness we did. It was insanely gorgeous this morning sunny, warm, breezy. I mean honestly we couldn’t have asked for better weather for their big anniversary photos.
Needless to say we were all pretty excited when we rolled up to the beach and I think you can probably tell from the photos how much fun we had. We started with traditional family photos but then broke off for just A&D. They did some special anniversary photos using some meaningful items and I was even able to capture some video. (I will hopefully share that later this week.) For now enjoy this sneak peek at our time together.
