Mine on Monday {6/6/11}

Well it’s Monday again and another weekend just flew bye. How does that happen? I look forward to the weekend all week and then it just goes by in the blink of an eye. Or at least it feels that way anyway. Although, I have to say, I did have great weekend. As you can see below, I had two fabulous sessions, plus spent some quality time with my family and even had a date night with my hubby. Yipee! (Thank you Grammy & Grampy!) So no complaints here! LOL!

Now onto some pictures. Not sure I’ve mentioned it on the blog but I cam currently participating in an online creative lighting workshop. (Which btw, I am LOVING!) It’s been really fun and challenging experimenting with new lighting techniques. My kids have been sports though and have had fun helping me with my “homework”. LOL! Pretty sure they are just loving the bribes attached to the assignments but hey it works for me! Here’s some pics of Allie helping with last week’s assignment. Enjoy and hope you have a terrific week!

Mine on Monday {5/23/11}

Happy dreary Monday to you all! This weather has been a bit of a downer lately, wouldn’t you say? I have had to reschedule a few sessions due to rain which is always a bummer. But the sun must come out eventually, right? LOL! Anyway, I actually had a few minutes to get caught up and realized I have been a very bad girl and haven’t blogged a Mine on Monday in quite some time. So without further ado, here are some recent pics of Emma, who just celebrated her big number 6 birthday! (I still can’t believe she is really 6 years old!) Enjoy and have a great day!

Mine on Monday {4/18/11}

Good Monday morning everyone, hope you all enjoyed this beautiful weekend! Man the weather was fabulous, wasn’t it? I actually had the entire weekend off, which, seriously hasn’t happened, in forever. It was so nice to unplug all weekend, not to mention, I was able to get a ton of stuff done! We went hiking at Purgatory Chasm with my sister and her family on Saturday. Then spent Sunday working on our new veggie garden. And I even managed to grab a few pics of the kids too!

I will be making up for having the weekend off though, so be sure to stay tuned to the blog. I have three sessions this week, which means loads of sneak peeks coming your way!

Here’s a peek at our weekend, enjoy!

The boys building our new raised bed veggie garden! Check Moose out, he was doing great using a hammer!

This is face is so very Allie! LOL!

Sweet Emma

And would you look at those lashes, man are we so going to be in trouble with her! LOL!

Mine on Monday {3/28/11}

Good Monday morning everyone! Hope you had a fabulous weekend. Between sick kids, two major home renovations and a session, things were super busy here…as usual. LOL! I have come to the realization that is just our life now, crazy as it is, I am trying to get better at rolling with the punches. (Which if you know me, is not my strong point.) Anyway, since the kids have been so sick this winter we haven’t been up to too much in the way of fun. However, I still managed to get a few shots of them resting on our new sofa. Enjoy!

P.S. Please excuse the double watermarks, I recently had an image stolen which is the reason for the new watermark. ;)

Mine on Monday {2/14/11}

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Hope you all have a chance to spend some time with your sweeties today! And speaking of sweeties, I couldn’t let today go by without sharing  some pics of my own sweeties. Here’s just a few I got the other day with a bribe or two.LOL! Enjoy!

Mine on Monday {1/10/11}

Happy Monday all! Hope you had a great weekend. Today for my Mine on Monday I wanted to share a series of pics featuring some of my hubby’s handy-work. Our little guy, Moose, got lots of Thomas trains and tracks for Christmas to add to his growing collection. So inspired by all the new goodies, Scott decided to create a corkscrew ramp & bridge thing to add to the fun. He worked really hard on this creation and I think he’s as well as Moose are happy with it. We’ll see how it holds up to the kids and of course the pesky cat, LOL! Anyway, here are a few pics. Enjoy!

Daddy’s great BIG track creation!

….trains, trains and more trains! LOL!

and last, because Allie can’t miss an opportunity to “pose” for the camera. LOL!

Mine on Monday {1/3/11}

Happy first Monday of 2011 everyone! I am back from my vacation and ready to get back to blogging. First up is a Mine on Monday post. These pics were taken this past weekend, when we got a chance to head outside and enjoy some of that amazing warm weather. It was so great because originally that big snow storm gave us some very fluffy snow that was not snowman-able. (Yes, I think I just made up a word there. LOL!) Then, when that little heat wave came through, it melted the snow a bit, compressing it some and making it ideal snowman making snow. And so that’s just we did. Alright, who am I kidding, I didn’t actually “make” the snowman or our snow kitten. I was more like creative director/fashion adviser. I choose the scarf, hat and accessories. LOL! Auntie Jenn & Daddy along with the kids did all the hard work. Nonetheless, the results were pretty stinking cute, if I do say so myself! Enjoy!

P.S. Keep checking back on the blog as I am planning to post my 2010 year in review video this week, along with a few sneak peeks. So stay tuned!

Mine on Monday {11/29/10}

Happy cyber Monday everyone! Hope you are all cashing in on some sweet online deals. Don’t hate me, but I actually just finished my holiday shopping this morning and scored a few deals too. Now onto today’s post, every year on black Friday we head to the tree farm for our annual tree cutting. However this year we didn’t go. On Wednesday, Emma came down with a nasty cold which preceded to make it’s way through the entire household leaving us all pretty junky for Thanksgiving and the rest of the weekend. So we decided to post pone our tree cutting til next weekend, hopefully we will all feel better by then. The kids were pretty bummed so I decided to bust out the adorable gingerbread village I had already bought. They each had fun decorating their own house. Scott & I were even able to get in on the action. Here’s a little peek at our sweet gingerbread village. Enjoy!

Mine on Monday {11/02/2010}

Okay, okay I realize it’s Tuesday and not Monday. Things have been pretty crazy around here the past few days. Or as Scott so eloquently put it, “We had our own horror show!” On Thursday, Emma started with a nasty, and when I say nasty, that may be an understatement, of a stomach bug. Then the lovely stomach bug found it’s way through the house, leaving me with some pretty sick kiddos. Needless, to say they missed their Halloween parties at school and even had to miss out on trick or treating…well almost. I couldn’t bear the thought of them missing out totally on wearing their costumes so I went to the store and bought loads of Halloween goodies. Then I transformed the first level of our house into a haunted house. I made them go outside ring the door bell and everything. You know I wanted to give them the whole experience. LOL! I hid candy in a few rooms and had the kids go on a hunt for them. It was fun…even if it wasn’t as fun as door to door. Here’s a few pics! Hope you all enjoyed a fun & safe Halloween!

Good Monday morning, hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Wasn’t the weather great? I just LOVE fall! (Just in case you hadn’t noticed. LOL!) Anyway, I know it’s been awhile since my last Mine on Monday so I figured I’d better get my butt in gear and post one today. Here are a few pics of the kids playing at the park. Have a great day and enjoy!
