Last night I had an OpLove session with the C family. This was a pre-deployment session. Dad is getting ready to deploy in a few short weeks for 9 months. This family is no stranger to deployment as this is Dad’s second tour. Last time he was deployed when little man “K” was just a baby. And now Mom is due to have their second child in December. I am constantly amazed at the strength and courage these OpLove families have. I feel so fortunate to meet each and every family and to be able to give back something to show my gratitude for their sacrifice. My hope is these images will provide some comfort for them during this difficult time. Thanks again C family for a great session. Enjoy your sneak peek.
Meet the adorable Mr. K! This little guy is a ton of fun!
One of the whole adorable family
Love this sunset shot!
And the emotion here is so powerful!

Alright, I do realize it’s Tuesday but today is all my kiddos first day of school. Yes, you read that right, everyone! Emma started kindergarten and A&A started Pre-K. Let’s just say it’s been a rough morning for me. A&A both did great at drop off this morning. I’ll be picking them up and about an hour or so. Hopefully their morning went well too. They are in good hands with Emma’s preschool teachers so I’m not too worried. Emma on the other hand, I am a wreck about. Like seriously a nervous wreck! My stomach and head are both pounding. She started at the big school this morning and it was tough. We were not allowed in the building and she had to walk to her class by herself. Ugh, I’m crying just typing this… Gosh I hope her day is going well. Anyway, here’s a few pics I snapped of them this morning as were were heading out for school. Enjoy!
P.S. Sending big hugs to all the other mama’s going through the first day jitters too!

This morning I had a session with the sweetest little man, Mr. K and his parents. K was such a good baby for me. He slept like a champ, put up with all my posing and barely even fussed. Thank you guys for a fun morning. Here’s your sneak peek, I’ll be in touch soon with the rest. Enjoy!

Good morning all, it’s looking like it’s going to be yet another fabulous day today. I got up early this morning to blog a few more pics of the gorgeous Miss. A from our session last night. Miss. A, is a beautiful girl inside and out. She’s planning to go to school for photography so as you can imagine we had lots of things to chat about and became instant friends. Anyway, I wanted to post her sneak peek for her before I head out to my newborn session this morning. Enjoy!
Miss. A’s favorite color is pink, so I had to share this one.

Here she is totally rocking the stare. I mean seriously, isn’t she gorgeous!

And I love this shot too, it’s soulful and sweet, just like her.

Alright, I am literally just back from my amazing session with the the awesome Miss. A. We had the best time shooting her senior portraits at a local beach. Anyway, I had to post these pics to give you all little taste of the fun we just had. Picture this, we are on the beach, the sun is setting and we are shooting away, getting some fabulous shots, when a flock of seagulls that had been chilling on the beach decide to take off all at once and start flying all around us! It was so funny and you know me I’m all, “ahhhhhhhh let’s keep going”. Okay, I guess you had to be there. LOL! But here’s a peek at what I’m talking about. And to Miss. A, I promise to post your REAL sneak peek tomorrow. (They all look amazing, I have no idea how I will choose a few to show you, but I promise I will.) Thanks again, you were a blast to hang out with and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to meet you!

Last night, I had a fun session with Miss. R and her family. We went to a local park where I had taken her sister’s senior pics a few years back. We thought it might be neat for mom to have the same shots of both girls. Plus, we did a few of all the siblings together, for mom too. Thanks guys, it was fun. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

And a pic for mom – here’s R, her sis B and their little brother J

This morning I had the pleasure of photographing sweet Miss A again. You may remember her from her newborn session. I know I say it all the time, but seriously, one of my favorite parts of my job, is watching these precious kids grown up right before me. It’s such an honor to be a part of these families lives.
Anyway, I’m thinking Miss A. may be destined to be in front of the camera. She was such an easy newborn and we had a great session and today was no different. It took her a few minutes to warm up to me but then she was so into the camera. It was great! Seriously, I have TONS of awesome shots. I have no clue how I will ever narrow these down for her parents. LOL! Anyway, here’s a peek at the first two that caught my eye. Thanks again guys for having me. I’ll be in touch soon. Enjoy!
Miss A.- then as a newborn

Miss A. – now as a one year old

And one of the whole family.

Last night I had a fun family session around sunset. It was a great time to have fun with the amazing light available that time of day. We started our session with all the more traditional stuff but once the sun lowered we had fun getting some more artsy types shots. I love how this fun silhouette looks. Check out the cool shadows on the ground. Anyway, thanks guys for a fun night. I’ll be in touch soon to show you the rest. Enjoy!
The whole family

This shot was a bit tricky to get, but so worth it! I just had to share so you guys could see there is no evidence of how this shot was made. LOL!

I’m totally loving this shot!
